Volunteer activities celebrating HM Queen Mother’s birthday

Altruistic Heart campaign volunteers have joined activities celebrating the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother’s birthday this year.

The Governor of Bangkok ,Pol Gen Asawin Kwanmuang, s led officials from the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, and some 2,000 volunteers from the Altruistic Heart 904 campaign to take part in canal cleaning activities, at a canal for each district, celebrating the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother’s birthday. Landscaping works around Suthat Temple and anti-mosquito spraying have also take place at Rommaninat Park and 437 Bangkok public schools.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives has organized the 13th colors of the flora botanical exhibition honoring Her Majesty the Queen Mother, featuring coffee from Pang Muang Co-op Coffee, made by Lahu people, through the support of Bang Sai Arts and Crafts Center. The cooperative now produces coffee beans on 0.8 square kilometers of land. Coffee from Pang Muang Co-op is known for its sweet and fruity flavour, with a pure and clean taste. Visitors to the exhibition can register and receive free torch ginger seedlings at the Department of Agricultural Extension’s booth, featuring an exhibition on torch gingers and products made from torch ginger. The event also features beautifully arranged flower gardens.
