Science short film contest for students returns for 2017

The National Science Museum has launched the short film competition “Science Around Us” to create awareness about science and technology. The winner will receive a prize of 300,000 baht.

The shot film competition has been organized for three years in a row. The National Science Museum hopes that the competition will help young people to be able to link science with everything around them by making a short film of any genre and encourage the public to pay more attention to science.

Secondary, high school and university students as well as the general public can submit their short film of 8-10 minutes long to the competition. Submission forms can be downloaded on from now until 30 November 2017.
