HM King grants relief kits to disaster victims in Tak

His Majesty the King has graciously assigned Privy Councillor Admiral Pongthep Nuthep to deliver royally bestowed disaster relief kits to storm affected persons in Tak province.

His Majesty the King today at 9 a.m. granted permission for the Privy Councillor to attend a meeting to assess the storm disaster in Tak province being held at Muang Tak District Office meeting room, and to deliver 347 royally bestowed disaster relief kits in cooperation with the Rajaprajanugroh Foundation under Royal Patronage, to disaster affected villagers at Muang Tak District Office Auditorium.

On this occasion, the privy councillor conveyed a royal message from His Majesty to disaster affected villagers. His Majesty also ordered lunch be served to villagers receiving their relief kits today.

Tak province has been affected by storm disasters since February, affecting 547 households in 62 villages located in 19 subdistricts of seven districts. Local administrative organizations have provided initial assistance and repaired many damaged houses taking the Pracharat cooperative approach.

The Privy Councillor Admiral Pongthep Nuthep then visited local families to deliver royally bestowed relief kits to three bedridden patients in Man Rim subdistrict, Muang Tak district, namely 77-year-old Mrs Pin Tesa, a 14-year-old girl Yamolporn Petchperee, and 94-year-old Mrs Yod Manee. The recipients all expressed their appreciation of His Majesty’s kindness
